How to organise an activity
Organising a fundraising event will involve a lot of planning and may seem a bit daunting to begin with, especially if you haven't fundraised before. But don't worry, we can help.
We've teamed up with Just Giving to provide us with secure online transaction capabilities to enable your donors and sponsors to support your activity. This will give you the following benefits:
Your own activity page, where you can describe your activity, show fundraising progress, display a list of people that donated or sponsored you so far, and a simple way for people to place their donations and sponsorships.
In addition, your activity will be listed on our website under the FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES with a direct link to your fundraising page. This will enable people to access your fundraising page easily, as the only thing they have to remember is to go on to our website's FUNDRAISING PAGES and find your activity.
To be able to take advantage of this facility you need to contact us with your ideas before you start organising your event. This is to ensure that all fundraising activities going through our site comply with the code of ethics of the Club and to enable us to integrate your fundraising activities within the website.
Good luck! All £2million of it!
