Nicola Thomas qualified as an architect in 1989 after eight years of University education, practical experience and lots of exams. She is a registered architect, whose details can be checked on the website of the Architects Registration Board

She for a variety of small and large practices in Sussex until 2001, when she was inspired to start her own practice: Nicola Thomas Architects (NTA).

Nicola is very interested in making her designs as environmentally friendly as possible, e.g. using sustainable timber, sheep’s wool insulation, grass roofs, solar technology etc. Please see more in Sustainability & Philosophy.

She is a member of the Green Register and the AECB, which both promote 'green building'.
